It may surprise some, but we actually don't make a big to-do about Valentine's Day. We think it has gotten crazy that people feel pressure to make a fancy eservation, buy an expensive present, or do something over the top just because Hallmark says so. Now we do think celebrating love is super important but this holiday just gets a little low-key attention from us. We tend to exchange cards. Some years there may be flowers or a small gift, but other years we may just cook dinner and watch a movie. We really try to live our lives to celebrate love every day. And have found that a surprise gift when you are least expecting it means more than a dictated holiday. And honestly we would rather save the money spent on a day like Valentine's Day and spend it on a Disney trip together. We both are romantics at heart and do love a good Disney love story so we couldn't help but dig up some links to Disney themed Valentine fun. Enjoy!

Completing a Master's degree definitely calls for a party. We decided the perfect inspiration would be the newest Pirates of the Caribbean movie to honor Captain Andrew's accomplishments.
