Ethan Allen x Disney: A Magical Match for Classy Home Decor!

When we heard that Disney was creating a new collection with Ethan Allen we were excited to see what classic design items would be developed. The new collection launched on Mickey Mouse's birthday: November 18th. We stopped by our local store to see some pieces in person. The first question we were asked was "Are you decorating a kids room?" which made us wonder if it was all childish. But we quickly saw there were many classy pieces with just the right amount of Disney. This collection is definitely pricey but of course is well made and you are paying for the names. Some pieces could be good inspiration for integrating Disney into home decor without being crazy. Here are a few items on our wish list... 

1. Comic Strip Bedding

We love that the vintage comic pattern with Mickey and friends. The black and white can go with any color room. There is a duvet cover available along with shams and sheets. Since this pattern could get pretty busy I would suggest breaking up with different sheets and throw pillows.

2. Letter Block Tray

Being a graphic designer Julie loved this piece with the vintage type. The way that there are hidden Disney words and Mickey heads mixed in is really fun. This would be an awesome addition to a living room.

3. Typography Type Art

This is a wonderful and famous quote by Mr. Disney. The design is simple black and white but the layout of the text has a playful nature. It would be a fun addition to any wall.

4. Character Chest

Ok how cute is this storage chest? More classic black and white with vintage character. This would be a great conversation piece!
