As kids growing up during the early years of Nintendo, we are both very familiar with Mario and friends. We spent many hours conquering level after level, and saw the evolution from 8 bit to more advanced graphics. (We even remember a terrible live action movie at one point that was such a let down…) So, when we heard a new movie was in the works we were really intrigued to see if this one would do justice to a nostalgic childhood franchise.
