Our Orlando Helicopter Tour Review: A Bird’s-Eye View of the Theme Parks!

November 12, 2021

While we are pretty familiar with most major Orlando attractions, this week we got to see them from a whole new perspective: from 700 feet above the ground! We booked an adventure with a local Helicopter tour company thanks to Andrew’s family getting him a gift certificate for his birthday. Fun fact: while Andrew has his pilot’s license (make sure to check out some of our articles about flying too!) he has never been in a helicopter before and was pretty excited. Read on to learn more about this unique experience and check out plenty of our views of the parks from a bird’s eye view…

Our Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Review (2021): An Honest Look at EPCOT’s Newest Ride!

September 19, 2021

As Walt Disney once said, " Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world. It is something that will never be finished. Something that I can keep developing and adding to." With many new park updates announcements some get us more excited that others and we have been anxiously anticipating a new addition to the World Showcase at Epcot. The France pavilion is one of our faves and we love the movie Ratatouille, so we thought this development would be a great addition. This week we were offered the opportunity to preview this new area early with an Annual Pass Preview reservation. Read on for all the details of the new area…

Update: Why We Changed Our Name to The Orlando DINKs

July 28, 2021

Yup, you read that correctly, after 6 years of being known as The Disney DINKs, we are officially changing our name to The Orlando DINKs.

While changing one word doesn’t seem like a huge change, it feels pretty huge to us since this has been our identity for so long. There are a few reasons why we decided to make the change, some of which are directly related to Disney and some that aren’t. Before we really get into it, we want to be very clear that this article isn’t an intent to bash Disney by any means. We have had amazing experiences related to Disney, from our wedding, multiple Anniversary trips on both coasts, and Disneyland Paris. Being Disney Vacation Club members has allowed us to experience some amazing destinations including Hawaii, Hilton Head Island, and Vero Beach. None of these would have been possible without DVC. We have also had the pleasure of sharing these experiences with friends and family throughout the years. So while it may seem like we are quitting Disney, we certainly are not (and please note we are even keeping our fun mouse ear branding!) Read on to learn more…
