Ralph (Reilly) and Vanellope (Silverman) have arrived to the vast land of “the internet”.
We can’t believe it has been six years since the original Wreck It Ralph movie debuted in theaters. (We can tell we must be getting older when time seems to be going faster…) We loved the original story of “Bad Guy” Ralph wanting to be a hero. It featured a healthy dose of retro video game references, funny moments, and likable characters. When we heard Ralph and friends were coming back to the big screen to venture out of the arcade we couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Last week we were invited to an early screening and are super excited to give you our thoughts before the film releases next week. Read on for our full review (and don’t worry, there are no spoilers to “Wreck it” for you!)
Read MoreAfter all the years visiting Walt Disney World, we had actually never made it to Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival. Recently some work travel popped up for Andrew in Orlando, and we decided to plan a quick weekend trip. After a late night at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party we woke up on Saturday to head over and check out the festival. It was an unusually hot day, but beautiful and sunny. We weren’t sure what to expect but made sure to show up hungry. Read on for a recap of our day, plenty of foodie pics, and five main lessons learned...

Now that Halloween has passed we are stoked for the holiday season to officially begin! One of Julie’s favorite childhood memories during Christmas time was attending The Nutcracker ballet many times over the years. When we were invited to attend a screening of Disney’s new film based on the ballet: The Nutcracker and The Four Realms we couldn’t wait to get a jump start on the season. We were hoping this would be a new title to add to our list of must watch movies every December. The cast was stocked with a lot of big names and the visuals looked stunning. Read on to see what the verdict was on this latest fantasy film (don’t worry there are no spoilers!)

Last weekend we planned a somewhat last minute trip to Walt Disney World and decided a great way to enjoy the time of year was to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. When an event is called “Not So Scary” and includes trick-or-treating you would assume it is just for kids. But in true Disney fashion this special ticketed event is for everyone and a great way for adults to kick back and feel like a kid again. Being a limited experience it is best to get the most our of this event, so we have created a list of the best ways to enjoy this event as adults. Read on and get ready to party!
Read MoreLast month we had booked a trip to visit Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. We had also scheduled a Pilots’n’Paws rescue flight on the way home to bring a German Shepherd back from South Carolina to the the D.C. metro area. Unfortunately Hurricane Florence had other plans, and our whole trip was canceled. When a natural disaster hits, there are usually many animals that need to be transported to new locations. So last weekend when the same rescue organization reached out about a couple puppies needing to be moved from a post hurricane area, we jumped at the chance to help out. Keep reading to learn more about our flight path that day (and for some really cute puppy pics!)

When traveling to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort last month, we decided to spend a few hours at Disney Springs to do some shopping and dining. We had heard a lot of buzz about a newer restaurant The Edison. We were excited to book a reservation here and grab lunch. Read on to hear more about this spot and a review of our dining experience.
Read MoreWe recently had a great first time visit to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Florida. We already posted an overall review of the resort as well as an article dedicated to dining information. This final post is dedicated to the activities we enjoyed while staying at this great property. Vero Beach is a much more quiet and relaxed trip than compared to visiting nearby Orlando, but there were definitely still quite a few things to do (or not do!) while on vacation. Read on for our top activity picks…
